I have been photographing for 20+ years starting with black/white and now using color slide film.

The pictures you are viewing are a reflection of my passion and love for nature. An interest, as well as a background. in science was a fitting prelude to this endeavor. My objective is to share with others, through my images, the natural world around us, as we oftentimes are too busy to stop, look, and appreciate our surroundings. Hopefully, these images capture a sense of the place for those of you who may never venture to some of these locations.

Subjects encompass anything from grand vistas, to scenics and wildlife, to intimate close-ups. Locations span the continental United States but certain places exert a certain, and special, pull. My favorite photographic location is the American Southwest. You may have seen pictures from that area but I believe you will find my renditions to be unique - giving you a novel feel of the place.

Select works have won awards, been published in various magazines, and reside in corporate collections nationwide.

All images were taken with a Nikon or Leica 35 mm, or a Mamiya medium format camera using either Fuji Velvia or Kodak Ektachrome 100VS. Images are available as Ilfochrome (previously Cibachrome), Type C, or Type R prints.

None have been digitally enhanced or manipulated. What you are seeing will be highly dependent on your monitor’s settings. However, be assured the actual prints will be significantly superior to what you are viewing.
